FAQs

What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy focuses on healing, processing past trauma, and managing clinical mental health symptoms. Coaching is future-oriented, focusing on specific goals, professional growth, and actionable strategies. As an Clinical Social Worker, I am trained to help you identify which path, or blend is right for your current needs.

How long does a typical session last?

Standard therapy and coaching sessions are 45 to 50 minutes. Clinical supervision sessions for individuals are also 50 minutes, while group supervision typically runs for 90 minutes to allow everyone time to present cases.

Do you meet in-person or virtually?

I offer only secure video sessions (HIPAA-compliant) from the comfort of your home. If you do not have video access, we can speak over the phone.
